ASIA SEED, KOREA seed company that started as 'ASIANA SEED' in 1992, is now listed on KOSDAQ. Along with overseas Vietnam & India subsidiaries, each domestic R&D base (Icheon, Gimje, Haenam and Yeongam) has been making all-out efforts to foster new varieties through active and continuous R&D investment to create seeds that are beneficial to the world with the aim of improving farmers' income. We are now moving toward a global company that is recognized not only in Korea but also in the global market by securing the highest level of technology.
Winstorm Cabbage, which won the 'IR52 Jang Yeong-shil Award' for the first time in agricultural products in 2017, won the President's Award for the 'IR52 Jang Yeong-shil Award' in 2018, and won 'the Prime Minister Prize of Korea Variety Award' 2020(Daebakna_Cabbage) and 2022(RP-1_Pakchoi). Overseas, Sweet Baby F1(Radish), Red Kingdom F1(Mizuna), Gold in Gold F1(Watermelon), and Orange Silver Wave F1(Melon) varieties have won the 'All-AMERICA SELECTIONS(AAS) Award'. Based on all of these, ASIA SEED is recognized for their excellence at home and abroad.
In addition, ASIA SEED is striving to enhance national health by developing various functional vegetable seeds such as 'Beauty F1(Green Pepper)' containing a large amount of AGI(Alpha-glucosidase inhibitor) and vitamin C, and 'Orange Mini F1(Small Chinses Cabbage)' containing 36 times more β-carotene, an anti-cancer ingredient, than regular chinese cabbage.
