National Forestry Cooperative Federation is a representative institution for private forest management and forest management established in 1962 (one central association, 142 member associations, 395,171 members)
The mission of the National Forestry Cooperative Federation is to 1. promote sustainable forest management and improve forest productivity 2. improve the economic/social/cultural status of the members 3. contribute to the balanced development of the national economy
Major functions are 1. Private forest management guidance (technical guidance and supply to revitalize private forest management, management support to increase income for mountain owners and forestry) 2. Forest distribution (production, supply, export and export of forest products, protection of producers and consumers by improving distribution structure) 3. Forest resource development (use of forest biomass and overseas forest resources) 4. Forest management infrastructure development(Undertaking forest civil engineering products such as forest roads, erosion control and restoration of damaged areas, Establishing forest recreational areas and developing mountainous villages)5. Forest infrastructure(forest restoration, forest restoration, and financial support)
