Agriculture and rural communities play a vital role in many areas.
Aside from the primary function of producing farm products, they serve public interests by ensuring food security, promoting landscape and environmental conservation, maintaining communities and safeguarding traditions. Other services for the common good include ensuring water provision and flood risk reduction and offering places to relax and unwind in nature.
In an effort to shed light on these contributions, we at EPIS will continue to explore innovative practices in the agri-food industry, with a vision to become a specialized agency committed to making rural communities more attractive and leading the future of agriculture.
