Ilssang Industry was the first inventor and developer of rice germinator as the company was engaged in rice paddy farming, which was the fruit of our efforts to make the rice paddy farming practices in South Korea more scientific. As a result, it became possible to reduce the time taken in germination, which used to 10 to 15 days, to only 48hours, with 95% germination success and 85% germination consistency, because of healthy rice seeds.
This made it possible to farm according to a plan and saved the amount of labor needed, which helped rural economy greatly. Our invention also made it possible to develop germination sites, which we take pride in as it laid the foundation for large scale farming.
Ilssang Industry realized that now is the time for agriculture to shift its focus from productivity and efficiency for the development of agriculture to the development of more environmentally-friendly agriculture of the future. Based on this realization, we started our development product for our warm bath sterilizer/germinator which do not need disinfectant in the process. This allowed us to preserve the environment and lay the foundation for providing our people with health food, while saving costs for farmers.
As such, Ilssang Industry has been the leader of environmentally-friendly, science-based agriculture by developing the farming equipment that are essential to farmers.
In addition, Ilssang Industry has been developing unique inventions based on our creativity and originality. We take pride in our original products, which are not copy cats or mere mixture of borrowed ideas.
Ilssang Industry will continue its efforts in R&D in other industries than agriculture, including manufacturing, to find out the kind of products that are dearly needed and endeavor for further growth in the future.
