The semi-automatic Pascal was developed by combining the advantages and disadvantages of Pascal with the common inducing hook.

While the inducing hook is cheap, the length of the string is fixed, so you should replace the whole string to change the length. And it is bothersome.

Pascal is wrapped up with extra string which can be easily adjusted to the desired length. But because it is installed in high, you should use a ladder to adjust the length and it is inconvenient.

Semi-automatic Pascal can be used multiple times on any crop as the string is wound around 35m on the bobbin. You can save maintenance cost by just replacing the bobbin, and even if it is installed in a high place, you can easily adjust the length without using a ladder.
