With its roots in manufacturing powertrain parts for agricultural machinery, Daedong Gear was founded in
1973 as the first manufacturer of transmission parts for agricultural machinery in Korea, and grew into a
manufacturer of transmission and axle assemblies in the early 1980s.
Currently, we possess specialized technology necessary for the production of transmission parts for
automobiles and industrial machines as well as agricultural machinery, and we design, develop, and massproduce
transmissions and axles for tractors and utilities, while also producing OEM products and selling them to domestic and global companies.
Daedong Gear has been developing tractor transmission and axle assemblies ranging from 19hp to 140hp
based on production experience in various agricultural machinery parts. In addition, we develop various derivatives based on the basic model and provide technical support for the development of new products for our customers.
