Warm bath method will result in difference in the rate of successful sprouting or pest prevention depending on the water temperature during sterilization sessions and the duration of sterilization process. If the sterilization was performed for 10 minutes at 64℃, the process is more effective in preventing pests but the rate of sprouting is lower. 10 minutes at 58℃ is less effective in preventing pests. The warm bath sterilizer will maintain the water temperature and sterilization duration at which a good germination success rate and prevents pest most effectively. Therefore, this environmentally-friendly sterilizer will allow sterilization without using chemicals.
